Great location, excellent facilities and wonderful hosts. I booked the accommodation for my son's skiing trip. He would definitely stay at Amity again. Thanks Jo and Doug.

Really comfortable and had everything you'd need, though an oven would have been a bonus. Microwave and cooking rings were fine. The outside balcony with chairs and geraniums was a nice touch, and the unit had a spacious feel, especially the bathroom. Hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Restrictions on what you were allowed to cook were a surprise and quite limiting - no seafood, fish or curries to be cooked on the premises. Curry - well, understandable, but not the others - since when did prawns smell?! As we don't eat meat but do eat fish we found it a bit tricky. It would be a good idea to mention this for info when advertising the motel.

the lodge is clean and quite.

too many rules that one may find some of them rather offensive or felt treated as children.

found this was the cheapest apartment style room that i could find. hotel was a bit dated however room was very clean and had everything that was needed. Really enjoyed the experience.

had to walk down a hill into town. was hard to walk back u when we we were drunk.

The rooms were in very good quality, the location was just out of town centre but within 5 mins walk, but for me the friendlines and helpfullness of the staff was superb. Were I ever to revisit Queenstown, I would have no hesitation in staying there, or recommending it to others.

The main bedroon has a Queen bed & a single bed. As I was travelling wioth my husband & one of the group was staying in our unit, we moved the spare bed out to the lounge, as ther was no sofabed as is usually the case in a suite. Management was extremely rude about this & said "people are always moving the single bed out of the main room"... Etc! I would have thought that this fact would have told them something!! It is not usual for a couple to share their sleeping space with either their children (irrespective of age); parents ; friends or colleagues!, This is not normal - especially when on holiday... When my husband went to tell Management that we had an extra guest, he was rudely told that "You know you will have to pay $25.00 extra a night"! To which he replied that he was well-aware of that which was precisely why he had come down to tell them. He explained to them that as he was not responsible for the bookings, he had not anticipated a change in the arrangememts. Additionally, the room had a horrible odour. The entirwe unit was badly designed (with the exception of the bathroom which was roomy). The wardrobe in the main room open at an angle which made it difficult to get to, seeing that the suitcase holder was positioned directly in front of it. the chrome & glass table was very dated & way too big for the lounge, encroaching on the space. there were too many chjairs 7 easy chairs, encroachuing even more on the space. Most alarmingly, was that the glass tabletop was not fixed to the table base & was an accident waiting to happen. They could also upgrade their cooking utensils - their knives were worn & blunt & we were unable to grate our carrots on the grater provided. Although Management did apologise for their "shortness", it has still left a sour taste in our mouths & on our next trip to Queenstown we have opted to try alternative accomodation.

This is a perfect location to stay in Queenstown! The spacious appartment (we were in the newer part; 1-10) is well equipped and perfectly clean. The everyday service is good and friendly. I would recommend this appartments to everyone.

It was quieter than places closer to downtown and location to bus stop.

The bathroon is recessed higher than normal bathtubs and it is not convenient to shorter adults.

Friendly staff, nicely decorated and large appartement with everything needed at hand

    Nothing!

Very quite and beds were very comfortable and are profesionally sanitised. The unit was very spacious awell appointed with all cooking utensils plua a large sofa and dining room table. The hill to get home didn't put me off as it is all down hill about 10 minutes to the centre of Queenstown and a cab home $8.00 who wants to walk after a night on the town anyway.

Shower was over bath and the bath is quite high need a small step to get into the bath, which wasn't supplied. However the bathroom was big and a younger person would have no trouble with the bath and shower.
